Francesco Venerucci TRIO – Early Afternoon Album presented in Sardinia

Early Afternoon is the latest brilliant work of Italian pianist and composer Francesco Venerucci.
Considered one of the most interesting pianists of his generation, Venerucci presents his new album featuring the international jazz icon, Dave Liebman on saxophone.
Early afternoon, published with Dodicilune Record and distributed by Ird in the online stores, embodies author´s incessant quest for stylistic synthesis of different musical languages.
Venerucci´s ability unfolds harmonic density together with polyphonic constructions that recalls Ellington, Evans and Richie Beirach nuances.
This work translates efficiently the vast personality of Venerucci whom is able to combine classical and jazz music vividly.
Early Afternoon is now presented in a trio setting, featuring two Sardinian musicians: Tancredi Emmi on contrabass and Bruno Tagliasacchi Masia on drums.
Both two they worked extensively abroad in different jazz band and orchestras. Remarkable are the international collaborations and festivals they have been working as the Copenhagen Jazz Festival, Ponferrada Jazz Festival, Time in Jazz, Karel Music Expo.
To cite few, Tancredi has played and recorded with Paolo Fresu, Daniele di Bonaventura and Sardinian Chamber Orchestra.
Bruno currently lives in Copenhagen and he has performed and recorded with names such Stefano D´Anna, Giò Yanez, Seven Steps 6tet, Danish Radio AM big band, Copenhagen big band and more.
